Exterior cladding had rusted
completely through to framework. When cladding was removed damaged
and rusted framework was replaced then the entire steel frame was
sandblasted, primed and finished in 2 pak acrylic paint.
Float was re-clad using 0.75mm white colorbond which was bonded
and rivited to the framework. Bonding of the sheets to the frame,
using polyuathane adhesive/sealant, will help to eliminate friction
between cladding and frame and minimise future problems.
This particular float was finished off using aluminium propellor
plate for the stone guards and trim.
